Algimycin® PWF

Algimycin® PWF Algaecide/Cyanobacteriocide is a chelated copper formulation certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for use in drinking water. It is proven to control algae and cyanobacteria (which can have an adverse effect on the taste and odor of water), improve water clarity and help to reduce post-treatment potable water costs.

• Eliminates the cyanobacteria that can cause taste and odor problems
• Will not precipitate out under normal storage conditions nor in alkaline or hard water
• Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for drinking water

Product Details

• Available in 2.5 (2 units in a case), 30, and 275 gallon containers
• Active ingredients: contains elemental copper in the form of chelates of copper gluconate and copper citrate
• US EPA Registration No. 7364-9-8959

Application

In still or slow waters, dilute the product with enough water to ensure even distribution and spray onto the treatment area.

For moving waters, apply using drip irrigation or injection and continue treatment until waters at downstream area reach desired copper concentration.

Regulatory

Waters treated with this product may be used for swimming, fishing, further potable water treatment, livestock watering or irrigating turf, ornamental plants or crops after treatment.

Do not use in waters containing Koi and hybrid goldfish. Not intended for use in small volume, garden pond systems. ​
