A premium solution, Cutrine® Ultra Algaecide/Herbicide/Cyanobactericide is emulsified with penetrating surfactant which allows increased activity on ‘hard to control’ algae. Highly effective at controlling coarse (thick cell-walled) filamentous algae, mucilaginous (colonial) planktonic algae, Chara and copper-sensitive vascular aquatic plants.
In still or slow waters, dilute the product with enough water to ensure even distribution and spray onto the treatment area. For moving waters, apply using drip irrigation or injection and continue treatment until waters at downstream area reach desired copper concentration.
The product can also be applied via drip system in flowing waters. See the ‘Field Reference Sheet’ for more information.
For use in: lakes, ponds, water features, fish hatcheries and decorative water features with little or no outflow.
Waters treated with this product may be used for swimming, fishing, further potable water treatment, livestock watering or irrigating turf, ornamental plants or crops immediately after treatment. Do not use in waters containing Koi and hybrid goldfish. Not intended for use in small volume, garden pond systems.
